What do you guys think of recoil macros , are they agaisnt the terms of service?

Today i discovered possibly somebody from my group is actualy ussing recoil macros , and it really looked like those squetchy videos on youtube.

All avarage players know its impossibel to control the recoil while full auto * precise *

There will always be a small amount of pathetic individuals who will try to get an unfair advantage to be better than others or to annoy other people, but that's how gaming and every other competetion is. I never thought this was a big problem in Squad, especially after EAC was implemented I never saw an (obvious) cheater again. Also it's quite hard to proof without any kind of replay. Admin cam is also not that helpfull as there is only a free cam and not a first person view of players. Macros might still be used but I didn't realize a lot of players doing that. Obviously this is against the terms of service, but not much you can do against it unfortuanetly, unless the anti cheat has a good decection for those patterns.

You don't have to cancel it completely to gain a big advantage.

Frankly, given how easy it is to set up if you have a mouse like a Logitech, I wouldn't be surprised if it's relatively common already. I've seen videos of players using auto clicking and 'recoil reduction' to pull of crazy kills before.

Im not convinved those exist in the first place, since i have no issues to hit targets firing short bursts with the russian AK's..., as long as the target is not too far away - with the M4 with forward grip its even easier since it almost has got no recoil unless you fire the whole magazine at once. Can't speak about SAW and other larger weapons, since i almost never use them...,

Recoil macros exist in practically any first person shooter....It's not hard to do.
