Report a translation problem
2. Go to your recording devices (Control panel > Hardware and sound > Sound > Recording devices tab)
3. Find your blue snowball microphone, select it, set it as default.
4. Open the steam 'Friends & chat' window. (Bottom right of steam client usually.)
5. Open the 'Manage friends list settings' window. (Cog to the right of your name that's above the add a friend button.)
6. Go to the voice tab.
7. Set your 'Voice input device' to 'Default.'
If your settings weren't already like that it might be a fix.
