People's Liberation Army? (Chinese Factions)

I'm not too up to date on what major additions the devs want to make in future updates, but if they haven't said it already I hope they add the Chinese PLA military.

I played Operation Flashpoint: Dragon Rising years ago with a friend for a while and the Chinese People's Liberation Army in that were awesome. Their uniforms, weapons, equipment and vehicle types would be awesome to see in this, not to mention the Queen Bee Anti Tank destroyer.

They said they will never add the Chinese faction to the game due to Chinese censorship laws. Because of that, it is impossible for them to add since they have a playerbase in China that plays this game (and it isn't small)

What they did say was that any implementation of a PLA Faction (no new factions are planned in detail atm) would take into consideration that it would have to be clarified before with the relevant authorities in china that the game would not end up banned there.

Everything is banned there, so might as well take the safe route and NOT add it, right?

To keep everything in perspective, they did ban Winnie The Pooh !

But back on topics, PLA faction would be a strong contender. They do have a fairly good line up of exotic weapon systems.
