What resolution are you playing at? Are you pre-loading textures?

I found that anything higher than 1080p with pre-loaded textures required me to have more RAM than the 6GB VRAM+16GB RAM my system held. Once I upgraded to 32GB I never had memory crashes with 1440p.

Resolution greater impacts how much VRAM and RAM you need. Both are required to be pretty high in modern games from my personal experience if you're gaming at higher than 1080p

Apparently all you have to do is remove preloading textures for some reason it over uses ram that way.

Doesn't work for me , i have done some " solution " out there about this problem, and nothing works !

I had this problem. Its a Windows memory usage problem. Put a task to clear memory cache every few seconds. No more memory problems. I have 1080ti and 16GB Ram. Easier then reintalling windows. Cheaper then 32GB of Ram.

if win 10 make sure upto date as the patch before last created memory issues with some games .. fixed in latest patch

Hello guys, i just bought the game recently and keep geting this error 2minutes after playing, Error out of memory.. I have i7 920 6gb ram, 1tb hhd where is game installed, 120gb ssd where is windows.. and GTX 1070 8GB , how can i fix the error? Nothing helps.. All other games work great. I think we need to write to the squad makers to release the fix finnaly! :)

You have to increase your memory in some windows settings. Allocate some more space. Cant remember where but its on youtube some where on how to do it. Put it on some high number and never had it again.

You're likely getting the error message in regards to your system memory, i.e. your RAM. Your system is below spec

Change or make more virtual RAM from my C disk that is SSD and no crash so far ! Im very happy it worked and i hope someone else can fix the game this way too! :) No more low ram error :D ...

Video memory is graphic card memory + virtual memory (cache on your system drive that acts as aditional memory)
You can try setting this virtual memory higher. It fixed similar problem that I had even when I had 8GB of RAM. I currently have 4100MB of virtual memory (fixed-initial and max) and I have no such problems. Easiest way is to google how to do it and watch a video.
Also make sure that texture streaming is off in graphic settings and maybe lower texture quality.

Kill your browser before playing, you'll be surprised how much RAM gets consumed by the chromium based ones. And certainly don't have something like Youtube or twitch running in the background while playing if your browser is running.
