UPDATE LOADING FOREVER

Please please please tell me how to fix those damn updates taking forever!
25MB update Download has finished after 1 second but applying the patch takes FOREVER! what is this ♥♥♥♥?

its patching, modifying files etc it takes a while. Be patient and come back in a bit it will be fine.

pubg, scum, dead by daylight, does not take longer than 30 seconds after download to finish the patch, now this game takes forever it's like installing the whole game again.

i own all of the games you mentioned and yes, they dont take forever to update... :O

Unreal Engine uses .pak files so even a simple little change requires you to download and install the entire relevant .pak file again which has that small change. This is why a small file takes a while and why it seems to turn out to be large.

Well im reinstalling the game because the steam says im out of HD space, and yes i have 40gb of free space and still can't finish the patch, i have to delete the game and install again because of this ♥♥♥♥.

40gb left i have tons of games intalled, warhammer 2 battlefield 1 and 4, arma 3, rainbow six siege and many other games.

Size of your hard drive being? 40 GB isn't much to work with. A bit surprised you're that low on space.

it may be his SSD i got one 250gb and one 500gb SSD and the smaller one is full aswell :O

Not a must though it helps, I have both a HDD and SSD and the game is on my HDD.
