Would you consider SQUAD the most realistic Military Shooter?

I've never played ARMA, but I will say this. It is only a game. There have been times where my mind begins to drift, but its just a game. That's the short answer for me in a nutshell. Served in Afghanistan 09-10 USMC 0331

to clarify, this is a trick question that will bring a lot of POGs and service members without any actual combat experience out of the wood works to share their arguably useless opinions. also, since squad seems to simulate more conventional warfare where both sides are of equal strength and well equipped, you can argue taking the average modern veteran of typically asymmetrical warfare's opinion of how "realistic" the game is with a grain of salt as well.

no nato soldier can tell you what it's like to fight an almost fully equipped russian army.

The maps in afghan like the desert/cqb are decently realistic. Other than that arma or ground branch is closer.

I've played Arma 3 a bit, it's definitely more realistic. Add ACE, ACRE/TFAR and content mods like most groups do and it gets even more autis- realistic. But if you want stable, frames or fun, look elsewhere.

Squad's based on Battlefield 2's Project Reality mod. It takes battlefield maybe 40% of the way to Arma levels of complexity.

The sound is very good is the best in any game on the market at the moment . Graphics are very good also , but its a game .
