How do I turn off my intigrated graphics?

I wanna turn off my integrated graphics because when i unplug from the dvi port on my dedicated graphics card and plug into my integrated graphics port the game still is playing from the integrated graphics. I wanna know how to turn of the integrated graphics so my game is not getting bottlenecked in preformance. I have a 4790k.

If you don't plug your display directly into your graphics card but into your motherboard port instead it will default to intergrated graphics even if you dedicated is plugged in powered up ect.
If you do the reverse your system will default to dedicated graphics.

I am not 100% but you can usually disable you CPU onboard graphics chip in your BIOS so reboot hit usually F2 or Delete and have a look.

I disabled the igpu in the bios. Integrated grphics do not work when I plug into the igpu port. I was able to get decent fps while in firing rage to my amusment. But it might have been drawing from the dedicated gpu

Go BIOS/UEFI Setting->North Bridge or System Agent->Graphics->Set Primary GPU->PEG
PEG=PCIe External GPU
Even you arn't disable iGPU, but set PEG as primary GPU. you can both iGFX,PEG as output of displays, of course even stream coming from iGPU, all D3D(games in most cases) frames renders from PEG.(but only DXGI GUI in monitor displayed by iGPU(something like GUI of windows OS) renders from IGFX.)

just do it in your video card driver options, set it to force Squad to use dedicated over integrated.
