Every multiplayer game should have the option to mute individual players.
Had a few games ruined that could have been avoided with a targeted mute button.
The only option we have right now is to mute everyone or noone so this feature will only improve communication if anything.
What will happen you will get Squad leaders that don't want to communicate with anybody squad leader wise. Soon as they Squad Lead they mute all the other Squad leaders to clear comms for there squad only. Leaving what I said earlier no communication between Squad leaders. If he's blowing up the squad Channel chat. They normally get kicked for that. For spamming. The game is built around communication. That is why I know for a fact that mute button will never be put in place. Just trying to help with the question.
That is a good point though.
That option is already in place. Settings > reduce sl comms to 0%
Or whoever voice channel if the player is totally not interested in communicating (or mayb shouldn't even play this game)
I think mute is still a viable option because voice comms is almost never regulated. And we can't rely solely on admins to police it everywhere.
Sometimes you get other Toxic SLs who don't work with the team and just troll the mic.
We are talking about muting an obnoxious squad leader on the squad leader channel who can talk to you directly with no one else listening in making it very difficult for admins to police.
Already in the game mate :)
