Horrible Ghosting Cheats Stories...

ghosting/streaming you got to be dense ass hell not to notice it on couple of games.

That's great Offworld, I'm really glad you guys are on top of stuff like that. But it does happen, I wouldn't say all the time but every once in awhile you find that one bs moment that can only be explained by someone cheating. I can say that the cheating on Squad is a lot less then Battle Field 4 where you find 8 people a match getting banned.

EAC is an awesome tool most of the time, but its not instant as it bans people in waves. so you might be unlucky and a cheater gets on your server but they will be banned.

Yeah that sounds interesting, I guess it allows the cheaters to cheat then bans them massively as a group so they don't know that the cheat isn't working.

Makes sense, seems like 20% of people look for movement, 70% of people look for incoming fire, makes it very easy to observe enemies without being seen

If it is stream sniping then nobody cares why do you stream live in the first place ? As for other stuff idk if a Dev says anti cheat is updated that offten then it cant be cheats but higher skill and knowledge of the map.

I can't understand why some people are ignorant of the fact that there are some blatantly obvious cheaters playing on squad servers. They'll make up every excuse ranging from you need to get more experience, to go play COD or something of that nature. I've seen my squad leader self revive himself three times infront of me when he thought I wasn't looking, and still when I complain about it on the forums everyone tells me I'm a liar. The Squad community is one of the worst I've ever seen to be honest. Good game, but some seriously poor attitudes.

Because there was an update awhile ago that killed like 99.99 of cheaters, and ever since then more and more people complain about obvious cheating but never post proof, or they post proof and it's easily debunked. That or they claim stream sniping.

There's probably some out there, but I doubt there's that many, when there's solid proof like there was a year ago I'll start backing the claim that there's a lot of cheaters/hackers, but there just don't appear to be many anymore,.

Cheat programs get updated frequently. So there are bound to be cheats in any game from time to time. The hard part is proving the cheat. Many cases that I've reviewed extensively, they are really genuinely good players. Just the hassle and aftereffects of someone shouting "hacker" can be better managed. My personal tip, if anyone suspect someone of cheating, dont go public first, this would give the admins sufficient time to gather evidence. If admins are not available, do approach them on their server web/discord so they can monitor them in the future. If no action is taken, probably then its better not for you to play there.

And give it some thought of ghosting. If its an open map, general rally/fob areas can be easily identified with practice and experience players do clear them out rather efficiently. And yes, I've caught a few cases of team switching to find out fob locations. This can't be addressed on server side alone as anyone can switch within a specific time/balance criteria , no stopping of friends exchanging info through ts/mumble..and you can't police the servers 24/7.
Just don't let too much of your suspicions effect your enjoyment.

This is like the boy crying "Wolf". You talk much but i bet you cant back it up with evidence. It is like going to court without any evidence and trying to convince judge and jurry that someone is guilty.
