if you open one of the squad log files in %localappdata%\squad
it will show what video card it uses.

It DOES list my GTX in the DisplayDevices but by using GPU-Z and also my HW Monitor, it shows my Intel being worked over than my GTX which apparently isn't being used at all because it shows 0% load on the chip. If I DO right-click on the .exe's and run with the GTX GPU, it brings up a black screen then just crashes.
Sorry for the really long post!
check this image out. You can actually tell squad to launch via a specific GPU.
Let me know if that works.
The one thing that caught my eye is the first line of your log file:
[2016.09.21-20.40.30:227][ 0]LogD3D11RHI: D3D11 adapters:
[2016.09.21-20.40.30:251][ 0]LogD3D11RHI: 0. 'Intel(R) HD Graphics 530' (Feature Level 11_0)
It only lists your Intel HD as having DirectX 11,
have you tried fully uninstalling your GTX driver and then installing the latest?
(Make sure to fully uninstall first, don't try and install over top of)
As to your post, SuicidalChair, I had tried that and it was still choosing my Intel HD Graphics. Oddly enough, since yesterday and today, no matter what I did or even if I tried to merely run it, I've been just getting fatal error's after the splash screen.
I guess my laptop just hates me, haha. :P
2 of them did as I said above and completely removed the nvidia driver then installed the newest, the 3rd opened a command prompt as an administrator and ran:
SFC /scannow
this command checks your windows files and attempts to repair corruption.
if it comes back clean let me know.
One thing I'm curious about on every single log I get, at the bottom right before the fatal error crash, it always says this:

I'm not very good with reading logs, but would the fatal error be caused by it not being able to initialize the movie player?
I does sound like your system is having a tough go.. ill check my log to see what is usually after that fatal error. (970m in my case)
do you have any .dmp files in the same directory? (they will be inside UEXXblahblahblah folders)
if you have a .dmp file and you could upload it to google drive or dropbox I can get someone to take a look at it and better tell me why your game is crashing.
I'll post a link to the file shortly.
