How do I restart Squad

It keeps mentioning how my mic requires a restart but I don’t know how to besides uninstalling and installing the game again.

Like is it a specific thing? It won’t let me use the mic unless I restart but I don’t know how to and looking it up doesn’t help either because it’s either people complaining about how it’s bad game design for it to require a restart or some dumb five step mic fix for steam as a whole instead which obviously doesn’t help.
