Nobody can hear me

Nobody in any of the in-game chats (prox, squad, QL) can hear me at all, but they can see the indication of me talking pop up. Please Help or fix.

Go into the control panel sound settings and set your microphone as the default recording device. Tick the 'Listen' box and make sure you can hear yourself through the speakers (untick when done).

they are. but one thing is set for both default com and listening

Check Steam,settings,voice and make sure its the correct recording device.

I can't remember how I fixed it, but I am guessing that you tried replugging you mic, went to windows task bar, and disabled the input audio device and re-enabled it. Went to Steam "Friend & Chat" and set audio device settings there, and looked in game for if there is an option to fix it.

Once the game went full release I had a mic issue again, but I cant remember how i fixed it. Pretty sure I did it through steam friends and Chat though. GL

Hey! I may have a breakthrough. I've been trying all morning, going through all the steps, etc etc. HyperX using USB and 3.5mm jacks. nothing. I just opened the "local files" and just ran the Squad Launcher file as an admin and its working!! basically don't use the steam interface.
