Error code 29, game will not start

As of v2.0 when I try to boot up the game the splash screen with the EAC bar shows up and fills up, but after that it just holds for a minute before giving the error message. I've tried verifying game files, reinstalling the game, reinstalling just EAC, uninstalling EAC and starting it as admin, nothing works. Interestingly if I uninstall EAC for Squad and try to boot up the game without reinstalling it does the same thing.

Update for anyone with this problem. Talked to friend who knows this stuff and he told me how to fix it:
Uninstall EAC using the launcher in the Squad game local files, restart your computer, then reinstall EAC through it's launcher.
