Two Annoying Bugs

These three bugs have been in the game for almost three years now, ever since I started playing the game.

As SL, about 33% of the time, I cannot use the T-Wheel menu because the mouse will lock in the middle of the screen. I am able to move it out of the middle for about one second, before it rubber bands back into the middle of the screen. I've noticed this is due to the T-Wheel constantly closing and opening while I hold down the button, instead of keeping it open like it usually does. By "glitching the glitch," I am able to put down FOBs and certain markers before the T-Wheel resets and forces my mouse to the middle of the screen. I do this by quickly moving my mouse towards the FOB emplacement and spamming left-click, then I am able to select it and put it down. However, it is absolutely impossible for me to put down emplacements, or most importantly, the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ HAB. Even after resetting my game cache, this bug exists. When I restart the game, it will go away, but come back later after playing maybe two or three full one hour games.

The other bug is within a similar vein, where when I hold down the interact key to get into or out of a vehicle, or switch seats, it will keep resetting the action. As such, I cannot actually get into or out of the vehicle in any easy manner. I've copped with this bug by opening my map while holding the interact key, and I am able to get into or out of the vehicle. Once again, I need to restart the game to "fix" this bug, only for it to come back to haunt me after playing the game for an extended amount of time.

The last bug is very similar to the previous bug, in that I cannot get into or out of a vehicle unless opening my map and holding down the interact button. Except, instead of resetting instantly, it will do the full circuit of the action before resetting abruptly. It can be "fixed" by restarting the game, but it inevitably comes back hours later.

All I can say is please, for the love of God, fix these ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ bugs.

Sorry, I meant three annoying bugs, but the last two are fairly similar. I'd like to add that these bugs come in at the same time, they cannot live without the other.

Those all seem Like they may be related. You don't have any controllers connected do you?

Nope, mouse and keyboard. I've never played with a controller with this game, not accurate enough.

If I were to guess, judging from the T-Wheel problem, when I hold down "T" it continuously closes then reopens the wheel. When I hold "F" to get into a vehicle, it seems to be continuously resetting the action. However, for the last bug, there is a delay and it does not reset the action until right before the action is completed. So in actuality, the first two bugs are more related than the last two bugs together. I have yet to find a fix for any of the listed bugs.

I'd like to add how much of an inconvenience it is for this bug to occur when I try to Squad lead, since it pretty much means I have to leave the game and hand off the kit to another person. There is a great stigma for doing that, and since I haven't seen a lot of other people complain about this bug, half the time the people are not convinced. But that is a first world problem to be honest.

I hope this bug gets fixed in the future, or at the very least, a more concrete fix is found so I don't have to leave the game to fix the problem.

However, I play on a gaming laptop. Although I do not touch the mouse pad, do you think the pad is somehow conflicting with my plugged-in mouse? It's possible, however, I wonder why the pad wouldn't conflict with my character's movement if that were the case.

Perhaps. I haven't heard of anyone else having these problems, and I get the feeling it's input related. Maybe try disabling your touch pad or disconnecting your mouse to see if the issue persists

Well, how to disable the mouse pad. Obviously, unplugging the mouse would be the easiest thing to do.
