I went ahead and installed the test branch and the issue is stil there. No change whatsoever.
1. Razor Synapse Software causes this
2. Recording software (shadowplay or anything recording in the background can potentially cause this)
The only other time I've had issues with the overclock is with Battle Eye, but that causes BSODs as soon as it launches.
Oh well, I guess I'll just knock it down a peg when I play Squad.
Im running GTX 1080, Ryzen 5 2600 6core and 16GB RAM so its not my Specs, i even updated to the latest GPU driver today and still having the same issue
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5FWAVe1km_g
I have benchmarked my card and can play other games with 100% gpu load, only UE4 based games cannot cope with my card. EFT (Escape from Tarkov ran fine at GPU 100% load)
Anyway, the above posted video just makes windows wait should the GPU not respond instantly before virtually resetting the graphic card.
Good Luck
Okay, will try the 120mhz gpu clock.
A 1070ti's minimum boost clock is 1635mhz but mine usually runs at 1850+mhz with no overclock. Clock speeds on factory OC'd GPUs are usually at or below 120mhz on the core, which would place it right around 2020mhz.
I can run EFT at a +210 offset with no issues, that puts my core as high as 2100mhz at times but Squad and other UE4 cames cant seem to handle anything over 1950mhz.
Are you getting an nvlddmkm error (part of Timeout Detection Recovery)?
Win 7 - 6700k @ 4.7 - 1070 @ 2055MHz
