Server Closed Connection!

My game is constantly--constantly--closing connection to servers after the new patch. I have gone through all of the support steps, you know verifying, reinstalling, reinstalling anti-cheat etc etc, but it persists. I can't go 10-15mins without it disconnecting anymore. It is getting really annoying. Anyone else have this, and if so, do you know how to fix it?

My system:
i7-8700k @ stock
RX 570 @ stock
16GB @ stock
500gb SSD

Speaking with a friend, he told me this:

"Tickrate is local on this game, any package lost (talking about my internet connetion) and the game kicks you out"

IDK if that make sense for you, but i couldn't fix it yet.

It isn't my connection.

Regardless, the devs are aware of the issue and said they are working on figuring it out. Hopefully they can figure it out and sort the issue out.

UPDATE

Being told to try a VPN to connect to see if that helps. I'm gonna try it tonight because I'm not at my PC, but thought I'd share this bit with everyone experiencing it in case you want to test it out, see if it relieves the issue.

(I will report back what I find when I manage to test it out myself)

My Squad experience this evening:
5 connects, 5 Server Closed Connection for a grand total of 7 min of gameplay, really...................

Ive silently suffered with this problem for months. For a game that makes you wait 4 minuets to start, then spend 5 minuets setting up and driving to contacts, just to crash... If this was a fast spawn game like COD, or BF it wouldnt be such a big problem... PUBG for example would have never gained popularity if this happened.

I ended up uninstalling the game because I simply can't play it and it honestly really sucks. The little bit I did get to play seemed great and I have a couple of friends who would love to play it and who don't have this problem at all. You'd think that with the fact that this thread has been active for as long as it was they would have at least responded to it. Even if it's only a minority of us with this problem it's still an active problem cutting down their player counts.

It isn't a minority, for sure. If you google it, tons of people have the issue, and if you ask in game, even more. They just don't say anything because they know it is the game and they hope the next patch will fix it. But it has been going on for a long time and it gets steadily worse, so I don't think it is ever going to get fixed.

I've run through every troubleshooting issue on their end to see if it is on my end. It isn't. I've tripled confirmed it isn't my ISP/internet connection or my router, or my PC (reinstalled five times, tried new computers, new ethernets), and now even VPNs from across the coast, to new countries, and it STILL happens.

All the other threads with people having this issue also haven't been responded too. Now after a long time emailing support dozens of times I had gotten a reply, but that was almost a month and a half after I started this thread and began emailing them (and annoying them with constant emails asking if they got the last one).

Now, I'm a patient person, but I've paid money I work very hard to get for this, bought the game 3 times for family and friends, and recommended it to friends who bought it to play together, and none of us can because of this issue. The last thing I heard was that they'd be setting up a server for testing, but that was almost a month ago now, November 5th, and I haven't gotten any other update on it. I've had this issue since September, made the Steam thread October 3rd. There have been, I think, 4 minor patches since then and one big patch (commander patch?) and this issue and the server switch crash issue still persists.

It is beyond frustrating. It just sits on my PC now, completely unplayable. It was my second post played game, the first being an older FPS F2P game I don't even play anymore.

for me it depends on the server. there are some where 20 pep are kicked at the same time, i assume the server is corrupted. as for the others, 90% chance if u are not white listed u can be kicked to allow a player who is. white listed as in the paid to support the server. A closed connection, is the server saying we don't have room for you, or B your connection between the server and client is choppy, it gets interupted and the server thinks your not there so it closes the connection. They blame the EAC cus they cant find why client and server stop talking.

I've tried many servers, including one I am part of the clan of. It happens on dozens and dozens of servers. And again...my connection is not the issue.

if you have had any luck with either Squad support or EAC support, please let me know. I just want to play the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ game already without dropping from the game every 10-15mins. :<

i have this same problem i was told it had to do with ram but idk after the last patch i couldnt play at all before i had no problem

16GB 3000Mhz here, nothing to do with RAM.

I could play perfectly fine before, at nearly 400hrs. Helicopter patch comes along and the issue instantly comes up. It has nothing to do with RAM. Who told you this?
