Launcher Error: wait for single object failed(2)

error code: 30004

Bought the game and played it yesterday and it was fine.
Initially the error from the launcher was EAC is already running. I deleted EAC in the squad steamapps folder and deleted the squad folder in local data. Made sure EAC was installed again and got this error. An attempt to launch it again brought up the EAC is already running again and the cycle continues.

Got this from another thread:

1. Press windows key+r
2. Type "cmd" without the quotes and press enter
3. Run the following command

sc delete easyanticheat

Validate your gamefiles via Steam and it should install EAC again.

how do i check the windows event log?

1) Right Click on the Windows Icon
2) Then Just choose the one titled "Event Viewer"
3) Then Click on Windows Log
4) Then click on Applications and/or System
