When its blatant, record the event and post in to the squad forums where admins will look into it:
Player name
Server
Time
Offence committed
Of course if its just a one off deal please be forgiving.
The problem isn't team killing... it's team killers. You know, idiot players. You can't fix stupid. You can hit it with a hammer though so start there.
"Barely tell"? I could clearly tell when the text went across my screen and told me I team killed.
So...
not a big issue.
The question then becomes:
1. What penalty or punishment do you introduce?
2. How do you differentiate between someone who did it accidentally and someone who is trolling?
Now you could do down the forgiveness route, where the person you Tked can opt to not punish you. But if they don't, and you get punished, this can then lead to bad feeling between other players, one of them because they are annoyed they got shot and the other because it was an accident and still got punished.
If there is one thing that would start to poison the community atmosphere it would be this.
