Basebuilding and how to use the showel

Hey there,

as a Squad leader, I'm unable to build things. When pressing the T-key everything I could build is always red. Also I cannot set a spawn beacon.

I've noticed the shovel. Whats the actual use of it?

the shovel is the only tool needed to build things the squad leader places on the field, except the rally point spawn

If something is RED that means the terrain cant support the item in the spot OR you dont have enough build points OR you are NOT within the FOB build radius. You can only build within a FOB radius. I dont know the circumfrence of the cicle around the FOB

You need 2 additional Squad members, a Squad Leader Kit and you have to be further than 400m away from another friendly FOB. Also you cant place FOBs near enemy FOBs

You need to place an FOB first in order to be able to build anything else.
The FOB gives you a build radius. The "shovel" (Entrenching tool, or E-tool for short) is used for building the constructions the SL places.

Dont just drop random FOBs, this effects other squads. Talk on squad leader chat with G and make sure the best spot is picked.

Hey guys i am new to this game and i need help !
I have problems with the shovel in SQUAD.
I can use it to build when i use the left mouse button ( which is my fire button )

But when i press the right mouse button the shovel should deconstruct says the description ... no way. nothing happens when i click or hold the right mouse button when i am in front of a sandbag that i build with the shovel before.

Any ideas ?
What am i missing ?

Cannot find a keyboardsetting for that action ...i need urgent help !
