Tons of things factor in to being an effective soldier in games, sometimes its not your weapons skill that defines if your gonna dominate. It's a realism game such as Arma 3 ive heard, if so i belive it will lean more to the medium side to hard. Depending on your skill. You might be really goo or really bad at FPS games so it just depends on your skill as well.

Just concerning firing mechanics, if you play FPS then yeah you'll probably shoot just fine. But this game is much more dependent on you ability to communicate and work with your squad/team.

If you just "pickup a wep" and run forward, you'll lose every time. In Squad, your teamwork is more important that your ability to point and click.

So as far as being easy or hard, I guess you have to ask yourself if it's difficult to cooperate and follow orders?

EDIT: Madflavr answered sufficiently. I hadn't seen it yet. Yes, firing mechanics are not difficult.
Do you have a headset with a mic and are willing to play alongside your squad? If so, then you will be fine. Lonewolfing will be disappointment (as it is designed to be), and kills aren't the focus of the game. Teamwork and getting the objective is more imporant than kills here.

1 more thing... I like to shoot in semi (IN GAMES THAT HAVE IT) But i seen alot of people on utube who play/played squad shoot in full I play CQB in some game and still kill the dude who's using full....Can I do that in Squad? I guess what i'm asking is can I win in CQB with semi? SEMI VS FULL

easy, but the hard parts listening and following your squads leaders commands.. alot of times you might see someone in the distances alot its up to you to ask to engage or stand down.. alot of squad leaders will direct yourfire commands and kick you if you dont listen.

I'd say it's hard but not stupidly uncomfortable like Arma.

depending on the weapon...but fire modes (semi, semi-auto, auto) are surely available
id say that it is highly benefical to learn the fire modes.
firing is not that easy. theres recoil, weapon sway ect.

but just like in real life you wont be going on a killing spree. 2-3 enemy guys and you are in a serious trouble. thats why it is important to call out targets on the radar and their positions.

engagement is not always an option, keeping weapon silence on a flanking mission is a must.
this game is freaking awesome if you happen to play under one of the many squad leaders that already play this game.

No, you have to learn to aim and shoot...take your time fire in the right moment and with the right bursts.

Play with a Squad join one follow orders . Pick a Weapon go and Rambo then you will have not much fun.

also you wont be able to pick any weapon you like
squads have class limits
dont chose medic if you are not willing to take care of your mates

It's not about always shooting at your enemy and killing them, sometimes you have to supress them so other squad can go through or flank them, people that play FPS are not used to this concept, but people that actually serve in military as myself know this concept and this game and arma applies it very well.

Not true, Squad gun mechanics are pretty hard. Forget full auto, forget hip firing, ADS in semi auto is pretty much the best way to fight, there is huges amounts or recoil. Hip fire has a x2 penalty (I think more since latest update) to recoil. If you play Arma or Insurgency then you will adjust a bit quicker, coming from COD, battlefield or anything else, and you will need time to adjust.
