If you just "pickup a wep" and run forward, you'll lose every time. In Squad, your teamwork is more important that your ability to point and click.
So as far as being easy or hard, I guess you have to ask yourself if it's difficult to cooperate and follow orders?
Do you have a headset with a mic and are willing to play alongside your squad? If so, then you will be fine. Lonewolfing will be disappointment (as it is designed to be), and kills aren't the focus of the game. Teamwork and getting the objective is more imporant than kills here.
depending on the weapon...but fire modes (semi, semi-auto, auto) are surely available
id say that it is highly benefical to learn the fire modes.
firing is not that easy. theres recoil, weapon sway ect.
but just like in real life you wont be going on a killing spree. 2-3 enemy guys and you are in a serious trouble. thats why it is important to call out targets on the radar and their positions.
engagement is not always an option, keeping weapon silence on a flanking mission is a must.
this game is freaking awesome if you happen to play under one of the many squad leaders that already play this game.
No, you have to learn to aim and shoot...take your time fire in the right moment and with the right bursts.
Play with a Squad join one follow orders . Pick a Weapon go and Rambo then you will have not much fun.
squads have class limits
dont chose medic if you are not willing to take care of your mates
Just concerning firing mechanics, if you play FPS then yeah you'll probably shoot just fine.
Not true, Squad gun mechanics are pretty hard. Forget full auto, forget hip firing, ADS in semi auto is pretty much the best way to fight, there is huges amounts or recoil. Hip fire has a x2 penalty (I think more since latest update) to recoil. If you play Arma or Insurgency then you will adjust a bit quicker, coming from COD, battlefield or anything else, and you will need time to adjust.
