[SOLVED]squad won't start! (windows 10 64 bit) error 0xc000007b

when i press play nothing happens.. wtf
help please!
(windows 10 64 bit and r9 radeon 390)

edit: i tried to run with windows 8 and admin and now i get error 0xc000007b unable to start...

Windows 10. Found your problem :P

Check game file integrity.
Make sure your firewall is not blocking it.

where i can check my game fire integrity? firewall isnt blocking it

Right click Squad in your game library, properties, Local files, Varify integrity of game cache.

windows 10 isn't the problem - it is def. a better choice as windows 8.

Seems something on your OS is broken - has nothing to do with Squad or Steam directly.
could be .NET, C++ runtime (the one which is neede for Squad - i guess 2015 version), DirectX.

just google for the error number - or just reinstall your PC.

oh, the problem only appears after you rolled back from windows 10 to windows 8?
now upgrade to windows 10...maybe the problem will be fixed then automatically.

i get error 0xc000007b when i start the .exe in steam folder with compatibility mode windows 8, 7 and vista + admin mode. now i get it too when i start the .exe normally. when i start the game in steam nothing happens.

You're on windows 10, right? There are still some bugs. Try disabling UAC then running it in admin mode, see how that works out for you.

Just looking up the error code it comes up as a Windows Error code is your windows updated?.

Possible Windows Update missing, try reinstalling C++ and .NET Framework found in the folder of the game. Also update your drivers.

I have just read, it is a thing for newly installed games it happens for windows 7-10 im not to tech savy but apparently people are having it happen whenever they install games that are new but this one is for windows10, anyway just check it out.. this helps its just a simple DL from what i see. https://youtu.be/vlT0N2CX50g

Im reading above you reinstalled the game cause i see on one of pages it says to reinstall the game if its the only game your having problems with... 1 ) unistall game 2) restart computer 3) install game. in short. but other than that people are having problems with games such as Witcher 3 / Battlefield 4 other ones like that getting the same error code but it was on Windows side where they had to use that patch but other than using the patch they had to do a full reinstall of windows ( which maybe u can look more into cause idk, thats everything im starting to compile ) .
