Isnt fall damage unbalance? I think it needs a fix, because fall damage is OP.

Fall damage is definitely far too high and you take damage from too short of jumps. It makes no sense converting being hit from vehicles and taking no damage and jumping from a medium sized wall and taking a huge hit. Realistically fall damage from moderately tall heights should ragdoll you rather than taking a huge chunk of your health.

Did you ever jump/fall down from 2 meters while carrying 60-70 lbs of gear while having no free use of your hands because you carry a rifle ?

Chances are very high you will break something, badly even. The fall damage in Squad is fine and discourages unrealistic parcour styles of movement.

Then again, they could introduce a climbing down animation. Make it slow if you like. But no. Why not? Because OWI has decided that a 2m wall should be an impassible obstical. In such cases it is not uncommon within the military to have a ladder or other means. It is just another instance of OWI giving infantry mobility the middle finger.

When you fall down crouched while moving slowly fall damage is a bit weaker, kinda "climbing down". I go over 2m obstacles all the time, even those i need a buddy boost to climb over and when you fall down while crouched on the other side there is minimal damage but no bleed. Kinda fair imo.

Like Gabe has said, maybe it’s more realistic, but does it make the game more fun? Double vaulting ruined various parts of the game in making it less fun, not because it is less realistic. Same goes for here.
