Found it fix for start a game

Go Squad launcher and Run as administrator.
it works for me 100%

I can confirm that this works. It seems that steam is preventing the squad.exe to launch or something. The devs are working on a fix i think, at least they are communicating with us on the forums.

You can always set your .exe-files to run as an administrator and then launch it through steam.

Doesn't work for me. I can get the game running but when I try to join open servers the game crashes.

Not working here as well.
Game does start after a while, much slower than before though.
Can get into Firing Range but when, after finally starting the Game, i try to join a server it just keeps loading forever.

Verify Cache, Run as Admin, Reinstall VC/EAC, Reboot all didnt work.

if you dont get servers ingame, check if you get some on steam..
2nd thing you can try if server dont load or taking 2minutes to load -> go into steam settings -> ingame -> change max ping to auto. that solved this problem for me.. my server list took ~1 minute to refresh..

This did not work for me. See my thread - I needed to re-install EAC and have the Steam client open
