Got banned for glitch/bug from TG(tacticalgamer.com)server. Possible community ban. TLDR (RESOLVED)

Always taught squad community as above average. Until today. Was playing in Fools Road. Our team is winning. And we advanced to last cap in mine entrance. Build a super FOB there. And got attacked pretty hard. Being a sensible player myself I decided to hide somewhere inside the building where my rear and flank is covered and went to prone.

Then all our teammates got killed I was left alone. And enemy rushed in. so I picked them out one by one. I was weirded out at first because I killed like 10 guys close quarter and no one seems to be able to kill me, but then again its because I thought they didn’t know my position and my rear and flanks were covered. Little did I know I was in a bug/glitch spot in mine entrance where people cant kill you.( I was probably inside of the concrete of the building; don’t ask how I don’t know)

So a guy called admin and said there is hacker killing them in mine entrance. Of course they didn’t know who, and me being a good guy, said that was me and it was probably a glitch that they couldn’t kill me, and that im sorry. But mind you I have no idea that they couldn’t kill me because of that (for all i know probably they couldnt see me and it wasnt not even a glitch/bug), thought because its my superior hiding skill and defensive mind. And the adrenaline pumping through your body when youre the last guy standing and the enemies rushed in didnt help, if you know what i mean.
I then apologize to them said sorry like 5 times and went out of the mine entrance because of the unfair advantage. 2 minutes later I was banned permanently from that server. Im also probably looking at a community ban from all the other server.

TLDR so long story short, if you got a glitch and killed many people don’t be a good guy say youre sorry just suicide and get the ♥♥♥♥ out of there. Good guys finished last either way. Im not expecting the ban to be lifted, and am preparing myself for a community ban. And if this is what squad community is turning into, ive lost hope. Squad is in F&^$ing alpha stage and to ban people in accidental glitch/bug is just sad. Im very disappointed

That is kind of sad, hopefully this post will reverse that as there is definitely a shortage when it comes to players like you. I'd trade half my team in any game for one player who is honest and not looking to troll/fight. The Squad community will hopefully get better in time, sometimes certain players in an elevated position just do what they think is best to eliminate the issue, unfortunately that action may be the incorrect action(Not that such action was out of malice).

Hope you get unbanned, seems wierd to ban a guy, when he is admitting he made a mistake he wasent aware off. Admin properply squad leader in the squad you wiped and busted his balls :P

Anytime people have a Ban and think it is unfair they should go to the Clan directly and talk to them .... Tactical Gamer has been around for a long time and is a very Fair comunity ..... As this is Alpha there are things that happen that we do not know and in this case I feel once you talk to an admin it should be straightened out ...

I never condone Flaming a group with out first going to them and talking to them ... If they are not receptive and or do not explain why something happened then by all means let the comunity know ...

[TG] Guys i dont think anyone is looking at you and thinking "What ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥" dont worry. Its a misunderstanding but you should have heard his excuse on the server and leaved it there. Its not fun getting a ban smacked into your face, heck its not even fun to be kicked from a squad lol :P

I understand his frustration, but i wouldt say he is flaming you in anyway, i think this is his best atempt to make contact whit you, as he propperly dint think about googleing your website and he enjoys your server.

And as Server admins who share comunnity bans(?) its not cool to hand out a ban just like that, you need to be ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ sure the guy is cheating.

ragekahn, I was the one who banned you. I did not see any of your posts about being sorry or admitting you were the guilty party. I'm not saying you didn't, I'm saying I did not see them. What I saw while I was in admin mode was you killing people while glitched in the floor, after I got the report that we may have a glitch hacker. We have high standards at Tactical Gamer and do not tolerate using game glitches as an advantage. I did not get the chance to ban you until after the round was over and the next map had started. Going to the Contact the Admin forum on our site is the only way to get your ban lifted. From what I have read here that should not be much of a problem.

Thanks TG members for your support. Im sorry if I didn’t contact you guys before posting. But im new to steam from Origin, and from what I heard, bans never gets unlifted in steam. If youre banned for hacking, then kiss your 30$ goodbye. That’s why I posted in this thread. I honestly thought my days in squad is over, and community ban is encroaching slowly over me. And my thought was, there may be a silver lining, I could stop play games and try to improve myself IRL.

I will be contacting your server admin and try to resolve this, thank you very much.

On masterjack second point, I don’t know how could you miss my apologetic comment in the game. (maybe you went out for a smoke) im not saying I have a good memory but as the old adage goes, you remembers those who wrongs you and not those who giveth you kindness. As I can perfectly(somewhat)recall how the chat goes in that particular game, and it went on for 2-3 minutes before the ban.

And it goes something like this (im not sure if admins have a transcript for the chat or not but it seems likely)
Enemy: is any admins here?
and i think hmm that guys probably talking bout me, i did kill 10 guys in CQC and im still alive.
Me: ahh ♥♥♥♥, sry I think that was me guys. Im in mine entrance
Enemy: youre a hacker
Me: im stuck in the walls
Enemy: you cant be stuck in the walls I can see you moving.
Me: sry2, probably a glitch
I then proceed to get out of the compound in mine
Guy in our team start trolling the enemy who called admin, saying hes a ♥♥♥♥ or something
Enemy got mad and and they start pounding each other
Me: yeah im sorry guys probably a glitch
Guy in our team: yeah no worries man, squad is still in alpha
Me:sry
Game ended our team won
(transcript may not be perfect, but I think I got everything mostly right), and the conversation goes on for 2-3 minutes so I don’t know how you can miss it

So yes I was shocked when I got banned, firstly because I got my hopes up, I thought well im not using any hack its just by accident (as the old adage goes, to kill a man give him hope then take it away)
Secondly because I thought nahh I said I was sorry, probably all is forgiven.

But then again im sorry to TG for my unwarranted post, but please understand that im too a human, and I can only can handle rejection by so much. Like shylock says, hath not us affections senses passion. If you prick us do we not bleed.

Again, im sorry to TG if i overreacted. i admit when i post this i was at my weakest. to be in the receiving end of rejection is never easy. i was utterly devastated and felt as if the world around me starts to crumble as i see my coming doom from gaming. mind you i played BF series since bf2(got bored of BF hardline and BF4 and wanted to try milsim) and never got banned, so it hits me unconditionally hard. and i have on good authority that that steam hacking bans, without question trying to get unbanned is futile attempt and youll get better luck carrying water to the sea.you must understand that i did this not in attempt to get revenge, but to calm my ever fragile heart, and as the sadness grows, and turns to hatred, loathing and abhorrence, i may have outdid my own objective. sorry.

Let me first address that concern of yours @OP you got cheating and admins can watch players actions, I won't get into details because that information should be kept private as such...., nothing is a secret so don't expect this to be kept a secret and now everyone can see ...........So your sorry, so you know by glitching you admitted that you felt bad about doing it, your lucky [TG]MasterJack is such a forgiving person as he doesn't wield the ban hammer like the other admins would.........let this be a lesson if you come into TacticalGamer.com and think you can cheat and get away with it you are dead wrong...........If you think your getting away with something, your dead wrong and your stay will be short....Your just lucky you got an easy admin to deal with because if it were me I would put you on the banlog.exe for life........cheater......excuses are lame if you knew better.......This is why I spend my time there because you get a ban only if you deserve it..............I really hope you don't get to come back to TG quite honestly........my rage is with cheaters and if you like to cheat this isn't the game or server to try your luck with.......

Damn you are tough, seriously you have the mindset of someone where you screw up once and you are done. You keep doing that and you will be the detriment of the community, seriously this is what happens to many other hobbies where someone gets punished and they ward off other players for their attitude. The OP did not blame the admins for doing their job, but did state that there was a communication laspse ande tried to rectify the issue. I am almost starting to think you have issues understanding the English language based on prior posts. Chill out a bit, otherwise you will run off those who can be positive influence in the squad community. You come off as one of the elitist who do not try to ease others in or understand issue some may take with the community. The matter is settled in a proper way, your input is detrimental.

Your arguments are laughable. Your credibility for an early access barebones games is because of your hours(In which case I should have far more given my ARMA experience, something which you lack)? Seriously, he was not SL and his squad did not die because of him(Please do learn English). Your attitude is pathetic, it is so hypocritical and adds nothing to the discussion. Please do enlighten me where you have actually contributed to the discussion board, so far all I have seen from you was criticising others and forming poor arguments.
