Gtx 1070 Max graphics 60-fps? EH?

just got gtx 1070 and curious if anyone else has one and what fps you get with settigns maxed on 72 pop servers mine drops as low as 43 at time and seems unstable to ♥♥♥♥! ive got it paired with an i5 6600k non oc

i5 is the bottleneck currently due to optimization. hopefully you see some gains with the new A7 patch.

Ok, you have 43 fps, 43 fps are much more than the average has. Yeah we all want more fps, i have an average of 22 so i know what i am talking about, but i hate threads like these. THIS GAME IS AN ALPHA! Every third thread in this communityhub is about fps drops or low fps. You know what you are buying, Not many players are able to reach an fps average over 30, so please be happy with your fps, this game is playable even with 22 fps. Accept the situation and accept the alpha status. Have nice squad day.

stop ranting mate i spent over 1200£ on my pc for better frame rates do the same ? im guessing your with crappy amd like i was and i was just curious to why this beast of a gpu was being help back and thanks you guys !

No, stop complainig about an alpah. Squad runs on all systems bad. Its like hit or miss with the squad performance. Be happy and stay cool.

I think the main thing is overlocking your CPU, I have yet to do it with my i7-6700k but my 1080 STRIX barely has an effect on the FPS. It's all on the CPU for this game.

overclock the crap out of that thing!!! What are you doing man its an intel its suppost to die in a ball of melting lead. personally have a 3570k clocked in at 4.6ghz with no heat or stability issues. Also I run the lowest setting possible at 1080p get 60+ at all times and run a crummy old 290x@1050. Overclocking is half the fun you went with the cheaper card, treat it like one and overclock that too. Saying that I take no responsibility in anytype of hardware failure. lol

Dude theres no way. I use a 4790k 980ti 16gb RAM and get easily over 60 frames average. ill get above 60 on three monitors at once or 4k, this is on all settings maxed and ultra. One thing people dont think about it the resolution scaling, put it at 100 and you'll see performance improve significantly.

around same FPS but i have a 60hz monitor it drops to around 43 fps also rarely. but my average is 60+ FPS all settings maxed, scaling at 100

4.5 GHz 6600k with a 1830 MHz 1070, I've got all max settings at 1080p and 150% resolution scaling and I get 50+ FPS. My framerate is GPU bound. I get 80-180, mostly 80-120, with low graphics (probably dips to 70).

4.5 GHz 6600k, gtx980 4gb and i have everything to max with 140% res, FPS goes from 80-50 in intense firefights.

For reference, I usually run it slightly below 60 fps (it does go higher and it dips to above 40) on High settings with an i5 3750k @4,2Ghz, GTX 970, 16GB RAM and I'm running it off an old hard drive. Resokution scaling @100% 1920x1080.

Ya I find this surprising, I only have an i7-4770 at 3.4 Ghz and a gtx 1060 FE and I hardly ever go below 60 the game isn't even optimized and I hardly go below 60
