My opinion...if you're looking for a main game to play every day for hours on end, you're likely better off waiting until the vehicles are implemented and hashed out, and the game has matured more. The current infantry only game play has the potential to get boring and predictable.
I remember myself paying 40€ for it, have played only ~15hrs so far, enjoyed half of the matches I have played and other half not so much. Patiently waiting for performance fixes and vehicle updates, luckily I'm going to the army soon for half a year so I those things might be already in the game till that.
I bought it myself but to be honest I don't find the price justfied for the content that is in it at the present moment, the price is only going to increase.
Source? I don't believe the price is going up again, ever. There should also be none of that DLC nonsense you get with other games.
I don't have a source, that is just how early access games work. They set a base price and as content is added they bump up the price.
Planetary Annihilation did the opposite, the price actually started off ridiculously high and then went down as development progressed towards a more normal price.
I also don't see the price going up, $40 is a reasonable price for an indie game and I don't think the dev team pricing their game with AAA titles. Though the game is coming along beautifully. I don't have a source on that though.
