Like, they actually believe that having to physically hold down the shift key is a way to discourage players from playing the game like "cod" or whatever. I've seen other people defend that reasoning too back when Squad had an actual official forum.
Trust me, the people who are going to do the whole "lone wolf" "run and gun" thing are going to do that regardless.
This is one of my biggest pet peeves with this game because I actually broke my knuckle years back and generally it doesn't bother me since its healed , unless I play this game for a longer period of time.
And for anyone that says "There is an auto walk function", its trash. It causes more issues than it solves, like if you're slowly creeping around a corner and accidentally double tap the walk key. Imo, this feature is just a cop out to shut people up from asking about a toggle sprint.
