If there is any group of people that get yelled at more than kids its gotta be non-native English speakers. Or even worse, as squeaker, non-native English speaker. Might as well not even plug in the mic at that point!
It varies from parent to parent. Some parents let their children drink alcohol or send them into prostitution. It really depends on each's parent's values.
The point is, I strongly recommend to the children to ask for their parents permission before playing this game. Don't ask strangers on the internet; this question should be asked to your parents.
Someone could have previous experiences that gets triggered, bringing the real life memories to the forefront. Yet the mind knows it is a game, not reality, very different from reality, therefore no ptsd.
The kids going in the US military with a gaming background in the past 18 years. Are having a tough time dealing with the reality of real war. Real war is nothing like any game at all. I am a Vet and have over 36 years of experience with Vets since I got out. Suicide is at an all time high.
Kids are not as tough as they used to be. 18 - 30 yr old is about as mature as a 12-15 yr old of yesterday. Used to be 15 yr old was a man, an adult working a full time job, wife, kid on the way. Nowadays in the US kids are coddled and not treated as adults until their 20's - 30's. Their low maturity level at 20+ is clearly evident in comparison to 12 - 20 year old of 30-60 years ago.
100+ years ago 15 was a man, not a child. Most people back in history did not go to school for long, if at all, they had to work to survive, which produces maturity. Kids nowadays staying in school into their late 20's with either their parents and or government paying the bills, are not forced to mature.
Of course it does depend on what country, societal norms, customs, etc. Are they treated and expected to grow up and be an adult by 15-18, and handle responsibility. Or are they treated as children well into their 20's, with no expected form of responsibility.
I have no idea if the current trend of fending off maturity & responsibility as long as possible is for the better. But I do know, most of the current 18-30 yr old's would not do well in the world of 100+ years ago.
it is always a breath of fresh air when I encounter a 12-18 year old that is more inline with the 12-18 year old's of past. Some of the 20-30 yr old's nowadays stun me with their lack of maturity.
You can discuss PTSD all day long somewhere else, but here it is simply off-topic.

Why? Minors playing such games is nothing new. There are a number of games I wouldn’t recommend a 13 year old to play, Squad is nowhere near one of them.
People in developed countries don't need to do that anymore, this isn't stone age. Education is more important
