Squad Training Server?
Just wanted to know opinions of players about a 20 player dedicated server to Jensen's Range to teach players about how to do certain roles, how to play squad, and increase just the overall awareness of the game. Sort of like a boot camp that can help new players without them having to just jump in a game.

Granted there's "Noob friendly servers" but I'm talking more about the technical aspect of it.

id love that/. Jensons range multiplayer used to be great but all the servers just troll and have the vehicles destroyed and spwawns camped so thatd be amazing if you had one up with active admins that policed the boot camp for the new players to learn. As a benifit youd get constant recruits and experienced players like myself wanting to join even if it was just a clan dedicated to teaching noobs.

You would find what your asking for opinions on already exists by joining a Squad group, Many Squads/ Clan or Gaming groups have training and the oportunity to game with some friends. I recently joined Atlas Gaming Group and we're training and gaming

I'm not saying there aren't clans that do train their members or offer training, however I have yet to seen a dedicated pub server that just focuses strictly on the education of squad. To me it would be interesting to see such a server exist that doesn't necessarily tie you to a clan but creates more of a better atmosphere to game in.

A few have tried it, but it only lasts for a short period of time. Training servers will only ever exist in the Custom Server tab and not the main server browser so they don't generally get a lot of traffic.

Do they generally not get the licensed server for the general server browser? Is the server too small to actually try and get that, just curious as I do not know.

Training servers are not allowed a license. And they generally will get a little traffic but people quickly move onto live servers and traffic dies pretty quickly.

Just a bit confused, as I was reading the Squad Server Licensing rules from the forum page, it doesn't specifically deny licensing rights to training servers, I apologize if I may be out of line here, however would it be possible to allow one 20 player 24 hour Jensen Range server? Policed by a group of active admins that would be willing to show new players the ropes.

Still paid for by a person/clan, but solely dedicated to training so when free weekend does come out players can have the oppurtunity to learn some of the other mechanics of the game before jumping into their first battle.

Even if traffic is slow, with each new update until the final release and each free weekend I believe it would be nice to have at least 1 staffed training server that is not biased toward one clan, or community that can give, Veteran, Regular and Casual players a chance to learn how to operate as a team and also learn the terminology, sort of like a tutorial server but with an active person willing to teach noobs.
