You can check if it's working in Steam's settings. Top left corner Steam>Settings>Voice then click test microphone.

It would be nice if Squad had a mic test built in. I get the feeling my mic doesn't work too. I've been using the chat system more then I did in V8.

Agree it would be nice if Squad had a tester. In my experience, steam's mic check is pretty accurate. Shift+tab, settings, voice, voila. That said, I don't think Squad will detect it if you have issues and fix it mid-game unless you restart the game.

I have a G633 too. The damn thing worked at the start of the game most times, then at sometime before the end of the match it would quit working. I really hate the software that this headset uses, it seems that it causes lots of problems for Windows 10.

After much research I found that you need to disconnect the USB 3 cable that came with the headset (reason - the software is not 100% compatable with USB 3, this makes me want to scream at Logitech....it used to be a great company with great products). Then use a USB 2 cable and connect to a USB 2 port. I found that this seems to have fixed the problem, but do not mute the mic when in game because it will not unmute with out exiting the game....yet another common problem caused by the logitech software.

ive been useing 3.0 usb as well probably where most of my problems are coming from. The audio for the G633 is spot on but the mic is a constant problem with me

I too have this issue with the G633's and squad. Half of the time im talking and everyone is talking over me. Works fine with skype, discord and t.s. but this game not so much. Ill take a look at that USB 2.0 bug, thanks.

Yes, the audio worked fine for me too, it was the mic that would shut off . Sorry I was not clear on that point. The mic is now working with the USB 2.0 cable and port.

While it is true that it is difficult to hear people while in a firefight or in a tracked vehicle this is not the problem with the G633 headset mic. The mic turns off completely (USB 3 cable and port), no one can hear you even when the enviroment is quiet.

ask your team if they can hear you
