Noob question about Heavy Anti Tank

So, with the heavy anti tank you get two different options:

pg-7vm heat
pg-7vr heat Tandem Heat

Since both are heat, what are the difference between them?

Tandem heat is a very powerful warhead which is usually reserved for armored vehicles that have ERA or are heavily armored like MBT's. However right now the Tandem warhead will kill any vehicle in one hit.

Yes the Non-Tandem HEAT variant is weaker, it what the Light Anti Tank soldier uses.
