At this point, you could go for any achievements you do not yet have, which is what I'm doing.
Not a bad idea, but this is a costly resp. bl... time consuming exercise. I am only missing the Bongo, which should/could be found in the Stone Quarry. I just now examined this quarry a total of twelve (12) times, costing me 540 energy - mind you, no Bongo came up.
But you both are correct, now is the time to finish some open achievements. I have finished a total of 37 (out of 45), some of them up to six times, and am trying to finalise all possible open ones including Musical Instruments
Ouch, that's really bad luck.
What do you mean by "resp. bl..."?
I would like the items to be found in more different places (like one of them can be found in farm as well as shipgraveyard), I've done Menagerie often enough! ;P
For a while now Steam achievements have me distracted from the game I was playing, doing something other than I wanted to, and ruined my enjoyment of it. When one became outright frustrating, I thought, screw it. And from then on I can't care less about them. Well, what I do care about is that I'd like a button to turn them all off (display turned off would be enough).
Good luck to anyone who enjoys them, but I won't waste any more time on them. :)
Steam does not allow swear words. Just add oody to the bl and it makes sense, or does it ?
Just in case you are not british, this word is used just to emphasize an expression. Example: when it is really cold outside, one may say: it's bl.... cold.
After my initial enthusiam about the game, I have mellowed down a lot and open the game only frequently, just to get the goodies, created during waiting time.
At the moment I much more prefer 'Talisman' and as the City expansion has just been released (today), I am hooked again - and Talisman does not cost any additional real moneys (apart from the buying price of 6.99 Euro).
Ah, yeah, I know 'bloody', I was born in the UK. :) Can't guess "resp." either though.
I have Talisman too, but somehow never get round much to playing with friends.
They all fell down some hole, it seems. ;P
A yes, resp. = respectively.
(By the way, I am true blood German
I have the digital edition here on Steam and I am only playing single mode, no friend to play with - not even my son wants to do that
I have just finished one round with the new City extension - bl... marvellous.
I live in Germany for over 20 years now, so I speak that too. Well, speaking I'm better at that, while writing I'm better in English. (I always say I speak 1 language, 0.5 English and 0.5 German. :) )
Throw me a friend request, I have some friends we might be able to drag to the board, and one who plays regularly, so might not be disinclined. :)
I haven't the foggiest, how to throw a friend request ! Maybe I am too old with my 73 years
May I throw you one? (Btw, you're less than twice my age, if you aren't joking there. :) )
For adding a friend, there's two ways: either you go to profile page of the person in question and add someone there, or open friend list, at the bottom is an 'add a friend' thing to click on, where you end up typing name the in (only useful if you don't have their profile page easily at hand).
To go to someone's profile page, click on the little arrow next to their name here, and pick 'view profile'.
And also Talisman owners as well.
