Wait a sec...
Is this game somehow connected to these titles?

These are quite old games that was pretty damn good for Windows Mobile at that time combining very boring rpg part but with awesomly written adventure part in vein of old-school adventures (Monkey Island etc.). I remember that it was actually first really good game on my hp ipaq back in the days. And story, dialogs was written suprisingly good for not so big mobile game on semi-abandoned OS.

And now I read annotation and I vaguely remember familiar names and titles. And main character on poster is rather similar to main character in WM Arvale. I think he had the same name Duncan. So, is it actually one title and this is kinda remake?

The dev would tell you more about the connection between the two but it's definitely the same dev who made both incarnations of the game. :)

From what I know, this holds true of the PC version.

Hi Defiler! Dev (Jaybot) here. Writer of the original Arvale titles too. Astonished/humbled/super-excited that someone knew of, played, and enjoyed the original Arvale titles on ye olde WM platforms. Yes, this story is actually a continuation of both titles, in the same universe and starring at least one of the main characters (Duncan) from the first Arvale game.

Of course, it was written so that anyone can enjoy it without any knowledge of the previous titles. However, those who have played one, or both will enjoy many references to the original story. And of course, talking to Wheelbarrows :)

If you're feeling nostalgic for the older titles, free PC versions can be found on the same PDAmill site you mentioned above, although you may need a magnifying glass to play it on todays super HD displays ;)

Let me know if you have any other questions!

This incarnation of the Arvale series takes place after those two games, and the major plot lines from the prequels are explained in this game's story. So it's not required to play them.
