When development on a single player offline game ends it isn't usually "dead." It's complete, finished, development is done or has stopped.
What's with everyone these days calling games dead when development is finished and the game is complete, or for online only games when the player counts are a bit low? Dead means you CANNOT play it, and that's all it means.
