Sound cutting out/stuttering
Sound keeps cutting out randomly, not just music the dialogue and SFX too. Tried adjusting all the settings and doesn't get any better.
Tried googling the problem but the only thing I found was suggestions to make sure sound drivers are up to date - they are.

i7-4790
GTX1080
Win 8.1

As it is I can't even get through the tutorial because the stuttering/cutting out is so annoying.

I got similar problem after adding Penumbra expansion.
Music cuts often in game and interestingly, in lobby, when I browse races Carvers and Riftborns avatars voices are muted.

Also have this bug(music cuts out whenever I switch to different in game menus/screens). Made a thread about it. Couldn't find anything online.

I actually figured out my problem a while ago. Really surprised this got replies almost a year later.

Anyway, the issue ended up being something being FUBAR with my Realtek sound driver. What clued me in was that I was occasionally getting a random BSOD and the error code pointed to a Realtek sound driver problem. I ended up just disabling the driver and that solved the issue.

Okay. So I just found out that my problem was that the Music volume setting for Endless Space 2 being at the lowest point before it cuts out completely was the problem. I set the volume well above 20% and things are completely fine.

Can confirm. Moved my music volume from 15% up to 25% and the problem stopped. So weird.
