Does Endless Space 2 have a console and console commands/cheats?

All I can find on Google are Endless Legend threads.

I had the same issue. Rolling back to 1.5.10 fixed it for me (Properties -> Beta -> 1.5.10 Backup)

For non-steam version - create a shortcut for the game's executable. Then add `--enablemoddingtools` in the Target field. It should all look like:

"...\EndlessSpace2.exe" --enablemoddingtools

I'm trying to activate this mod, but nothing works. Or at least nothing happens when I run my game and hit shif + F1. Can someone explain to me if the keys shown are not the right ones?

So there was a secret change from "-enablemoddingtools" -> "--enablemoddingtools"

This is great, thanks! I was looking for this. Is it okay if I create a guide on how to do this on the guides page here on steam? It would help people like me find this easier.

In my experience: Still works but steams changed some policies, and you need to accept some window on steam prior to launch the debug more. Not always pops up and if it doesn't you cannot launch with command arguments.
