Although Iv'e now sorted this, perhaps developers need to make it a bit clearer how this works, cause its a bit confusing.

When you go to the updates screen in game (last tab content manager) the screen there is kind of dis-functional.
The updates buttons do not appear to work, and as you can see from the screenshot the APPLY button is greyed out and it says No changes have been made .
I'm pretty worried since apparently there was an event update for a limited time... I don't know how I can check if its active.
To be fair, in game menu for Updates and DLC is quite confusing.
Perhaps you guys could label this as "Special Events" because I too am a new player and have been spending the better part of an hour trying to figure out htf to activate these, and there is no help in your forums.
This does not answer my OP.
I had hoped to get some feedback about it.
Whilst I might agree that this isn't a big deal, I reiterate that from the pov of a new player that the present update system is confusing. For the sake of clarity it would be good to at least aknowledge there is a problem....
We know that there's a problem with how the free DLC is set up (I myself have been on the receiving end of that problem for a long time), but as far as I can tell we can not easily change this for ES2 anymore. We will endavor to avoid issues like this with our future titles, though.
Also, the "updates" tab in the game is in no way intended to deliver updates, only to list which content has been added for free since release. The "Apply" button exists for changes to which DLC you have activated in the "Expansion Packs" and "Add-Ons" tabs. Which is another clarity issue we will take into account for the future.
Thank you for clearing that up.
