Please, please can we get the Sowers back in the next DLC?

If I am not mistaken it is going to be the Harmony Faction, a lot of people miss them from ES1. I dont remember sowers being anything special.

Blah, I didn't like the Harmony at all. I just liked the Sowers because I always played them with the intention of terraforming the entire galaxy into tundra worlds.

i mean a lot of custom faction mods out there, you can make your version of that and go crazy. Also new group is making the next expansion and beyond. Amplitude is done making content for ES2.

Amplitude did contract the same developer who made the Inferno and Symbiosis expansions for EL to do an expansion for ES2. But you're right, they (Amplitude) did say they were not working on current games, and instead working on something else (EL2!?).

not sure what their next project is but im going to guess its either Endless Legend 2 or a new project completely. If anything I can see them start on the foundation for ES3. Endless Space is their bread and butter imo. If it wasnt for ES, I wouldnt be here at all.

Unfortunately the Sowers cannot return as a Major Faction, because they are implemented in the game as a Minor Faction.

that isnt true, the hissho are both a minor and a major faction.

The minor faction is a specific clan of the Hissho that was taken from the homeworld. They have a different name. The Sowers minor faction is called the Sowers. Not a lot of room for variation there.

The minor faction originally was Hissho; it was changed after Hissho were re-introduced as majors.
