Latest Patch Has Broken My Game Window Hangs At Menu Screen Although Sound Thread Continues In Background I Have Checked Game Files But Problem Unresolved. Have Up To Date Drivers From AMD And Have Seen Problems Before With Graphics But I Think Problem Is With Latest Patch. Will Wait Until Solution Is Found. Puzzled?

When start new game - game is crashed, after today path. Try reinstall game = 0 effect. Fix this pls.

yep, game freezes crashes after finishing loading a new or a save game after the new patch. Zero mods activated.

Same issue: game won't start; locks on the loading screen. Runs at a snail's pace through the initial bootup and start new game screens. Playing (that is, trying to play) on a mac.

Exactly the same issue.
Notifications don't visually disapear when i close them, and the same goes for other UI elements, such as technology tree, heroe skill tree, notification etc. Basicly any ingame window.
The game still process my inputs as if the said windows were closed tho, and i can hear the sound of the menu's icons if i pass the cursor on the screen after inputting escape for instance.

I can launch without issue, but the UI becomes unresponsive with various random actions. So far I got it on launching ground invasions and on shift-selecting fleets orbiting a node. Music continues, UI SFX works, clicking at random will do things - though I will see none of them, just hear the UI working - keyboard shortcuts will work - but again, I will see nothing happening except perhaps an overlay blurring things out for an invisible window. The process is not frozen, but all I can do is alt-F4 it. Luckily there's backup branches, cause it seems someone didn't smoke this build properly, UI freezes up with far too high reproducibility for this to just slip through unnoticed.

Update is broken. Devs: Please fix or give us the old Version back....than fix the Patch! ;)
Anyone can confirm that getting the g2g-account solves this problem? Thanks in advance.

Ok, we found the problem (tutorials are brocken), so we decided to go back to the previous version (1.4.9) for the moment. Sorry to delay this update, we will come back with it, fixed, really soon.
