Razer Chroma not working

Hi all,

I have tried to launch razer chroma, but I can't get it to work. I have reinstalled synapse numerous times, checked the validity of ES2 files but nothing seems to help. Synapse is recognizing I have launched ES2, but the moment the game starts the lights are freezing.

Chroma is working without problems in other games and apps (overwatch, doom)

Is it a known issue? Thanks for your help.

Same problem on my side.
I got a Blackwidow Chroma and Synapse 3. Same problem was on Synapse 2 too.
Just freezing lights and working in other games.

I can confirm that lights freeze and are non responsive in ES2 on other Razer platforms: I'm using a brand new Chroma SDK.

Tried a few other games: Overwatch, Deep Rock Galactic, and Redout all seem to drive the lights fine. So the issue appears to be ES2.

Tried restarting ES2 after turning on Chroma in the game menus, no effect. Synapse is up to date, as is ES2.

Razer Chroma is not working here, keyboard sometimes changes color and freezes. Mouse and Mousepad retain whatever colors I gave them in Razer Synapse. It would be nice to know if devs are aware of the issue and if its going to get looked into. The chroma support was one of the reasons I picked the game up.

Devs are looking into it, it might be something that broke with a patch.

I had the same problem with the software used for my trust gxt gaming keyboard and mouse. It's a win 10 problem.

It's also on Windows 7. That's my OS on the rig with the Chroma SDK

Interesting thought, thanks, but see the rest of the thread. Other Chroma-enabled games fire events just fine under the same config.

Granted, as bugs go, this really is pretty minor given the awesomeness that is ES2. But hey, we're users. We complain. It's what we do.

I had 3 razer mices 2 of which broke (1 right before warranty ran out, 1 right after warrty ran out).
I recommand avoiding razer. They have more renown than quality controll.

So no news on this since that last reply from the devs in Jun? Having the same issue. Chroma Apps work in every other game, not ES2

I was really excited when I've seen ES2 as a game supported for Chroma and tried to google how cool it looks. Seems like I'm not buying that fancy Chroma Hardware kit :/ what's the point? Please fix that!
