I'm a big Automaton fanboy, but Sowers had much fun with the Sowers.
I'd love it if we could get some space cultists!
I'd be happy with eventually seeing the other two as well though.
I wonder if the robot option in the factoin vote might be Automaton?
That may be true but the Automatons can be focusing more on Ecological as their primary Ideology since they are considered caretakers of living worlds and their study on biology. Pacifism can be their secondary ideology.
Sowers start with ecologist and have a knack for industrialists. I used gargantuan population for the food malus.
Cultists we kinda already have with the vodyani.
It would be superb to have both religious factions fighting holy wars against each other though.
Or create a custom religious race and fight Vodyani. I propose the holy Slavedrivers: Slavedriver racial affinity and Riftborn visual affinity. Start with a minor race that is religious like your own. Dictatorship or Republic works best as you reach religious law Saints & Sinners the fastest. With that you can force approval to content or even happy in case you use a republic. You get almost double FIDSI from the slaves. Wreak havoc on those weak bottom Vodyani.
Not a bad idea, but not a definitive solution either, otherwise we would not need any real factions, only traits to make our own. With a real faction comes new lore, designs, strategies, etc.
I'll agree with more machine races though!
