So I "unlocked" this achievement today but I last played the game yesterday. Certainly don't recall getting this while I wasn't playing... er, bug? Anyone else? (Post-Game Summary)

This has got to be hitting other players. Global achievement stats for Awakening, the latest DLC, are all at 0% unlocked for the other achievements. Laying Down the Law was at 3% when I noticed the bug a few hours ago and is now up to 5% players unlocked. It will climb as more Endless Space 2 players opt in to the Steam Beta Update (the Steam Library beta).

I got the achievement posted on the Beta Post-game summary a second time after launched the ES2 and loaded up my latest save game. I haven't even had the Academy quest pop up yet since I got the new DLC, so there is absolutely no way I could have unlocked the achievement.

I just got this achievement despite not launching Endless Space 2 in like a week or more.

We were working on fixing the bugs with this achievement, and apparently that work has had some odd side effects. Sorry about any confusion this has caused.

I unlocked that achievement without even having the latest DLC, I just fought vodyani vs vodyani in Academy system

I also got this achievement upon loading steam and selecting but not running endless space 2. Like others I don't own the awakening dlc. I did not opt into any beta updates.
I must say, it did look kind of odd, getting this achievement without running any games.

Yeah, my first thought was that my account was compromised and someone was playing my library.

According to the new library page, I actually managed to get it twice!

Yes, I have unlocked an achievement "Letzte Machtposition" without having the Academy fleet. Strange... and the role "Grossadmiral"

Nah, it didn't effect that many people, the achieve is still at only 1% of players.

I haven't played in a few weeks and I just saw the achievement unlock pop up for this. I thought I was nuts.
