System with 6 planets require total of 6 clicks to get through. Combine that with total planet in galaxy, it is more than 100 clicks per playthrough, so no, we need an option to disable it entirely.
Still a disable option would be nice though.
It is kinda Amplitude thing. We complain about this in every single of their game since ES1. They mostly choose artistic aethestic over efficiency and practicle. At lease they did them pretty enough that we can tolerate compare to other game.
I did disable every notification though. I always check them anyway, i just don't need them to deep-throart me every single turn.
Indeed. Just annoying after the hundredth time. The file that controls it is surprisingly large, it seems they put a lot of effort into it. Which might explain the lack of option to turn it off. Nevertheless, should be easy enough to mod out (which will probably break achievements, damn it).

I gotta vote for this one, too.
And if not yet posted, I'm gonna start one. (It's just THAT annoying!)

DOH!!
Yes, JH - that's the link.
TY!
I think after seeing each planet type the first time, there's not really any new information being displayed to the player during these cinematic sequences. The planets don't seem terribly distinguishable from each other (within their type), whereas maybe if there was notable differences or maybe flavor text I'd be more inclined to linger there.
