What to do with excessive empire influence?
I have nearly 200k in my bank with 5k income per turn, maxed out all diplomacy and alliance, what do i use it for?

Why havent you won the game yet? Thats the question you should be asking. With that many influence income per turn that means you have lots of systems. Either you are stomping the AIs or you are playing on huge map with 4 enemies. Either way in the late game there is not much you can do with that mach influence even bribery does not cost u that much. Just win the game and start a new one.

Either you have that much influence banked + 5k+ per turn and...

A) You already own every single building in each colony --- then like above, why haven't you won yet, and nothing to use it for other than infinite truce refusals, etc

B) You don't own every building yet in each colony - rush buy them with all that influence. Empire specialty is using influence to rush buy buildings.

im still new to the game and exploring the mechanics, so im delibrately prolong the game to see what quests/triggers there are, im on endless sandbox mode after all. Hence im curious if i can use this influence for any good stuff. Im on customed unfallen.

Well, there is no Influence Victory so I'm no t surprised that he doesn't won.
Inf;uence is mostly used for Diplomacy stuff - reject, propose, force Law and to speed up colonies for any faction. Only one Faction can use Influence as a currency and that is United Empire, which can speed up, instant buy System/planetary upgrade OR buy Units (there is also one and only achievement for them - resarch and buy Carrier Class hull via Influence at the same turn)
So...You've choosen poorly to go max on Influence :) All you need is a stable incom so You wont end up stuck before declare war, make a demand, speed up colony or simply change/keep up with senat Laws.

i find the entire diplomacy pressure stuff pretty useless, AI outright refuse no matter what. They also never wants fair exchange.

What you can do with that influence is use those powerful laws that have very high per turn cost in influence. You can level up multiple factions (war, science, production) and use all their "ultimate" influce laws that cost 4 influence per turn per cetizen... this will easily spend thousands of influence per turn if you have a large population.

To sum up, Bureaucratic Imbroglio could be a useful diplomatic term to raise your pressure on other factions and to lower your influence pool.

Bureaucratic obsticles is the only thing i found useful so far, other stuff like diplomatic demands the Bots never answers to them and it impacts negatively on you i find, because other AI assume you are a bully.
