As far as I can tell, Horatio is a bit like Trump. Even between clones, he is never satisfied until he proves that there can only be one original - at the stage where he has to face off with another of his own clones. His ego is HUUUUGE lol.
Horatio is an extreme case of what personal Psychologists like Adler refer to as the need for extreme compensation - if you guys see the video, he was ridiculed since young so he needed to compensate for it by proving everyone wrong,
The Horatio quote is actually a stab at Paradox's marketing campaign for "Stellaris". Feel free to look it up yourself. I dont know if it was in 'kind' jest or not, but that's where it actually comes from. It had nothing to do with the United States or its political runners at the time.

I wonder about your conclusion. Paradox did present fan stuff - basecaps with "Make Space Great Again" on it. If you don't see any connection to Trump... What leads you to think "Make Horatio Great Again" was a stab on Paradox ?
