Unique planets

Hi guys, is there really an interest to colonize these planets ? I already found some and they were good but... meh. Do they trigger some hidden quest ? Indeed we are talking about "legendary planets" like auriga and the original endless one, are they intersteting appart for the rp and the backstory ?

If you check out the planet's production per pop, they get fairly hefty bonuses in total, with usually a little of everything at least. So it's something to consider when colonizing, but if there's something better, go with that.
