Is there a combination of choices that saves the AI?

My choicesScience/science choice ended bad and social/science choice seems to be going bad too but havent completed that one yet

Going militarist actually summons the Mavros. They become attracted to your "kill everyone!" ENFER and show crash one of your worlds. ENFER then decides to betray you for your psychotic cousins and rebels... but despite reading that ENFER is sending Mavros ships everywhere... I never saw anything happen. It just sits there until you conquer it.

The quest reward was nice, though, its a 50% research discount to the rest of the military tree. Lets you sweep the rest of it to then sweep the rest of the galaxy.

Honestly its kind of a given. The opener even states the Sophons are the first to research and create any given technology... and the first to screw up with it as well. So creating a powerful AI sophisticated enough to run an entire galactic empire was never going to end well.
