It is what it is, blame SE all you want, but they said it well before EW launch that they feared for the worst when it come to launch day, because they were unable to buy new servers to accommodate all the new players, its not like they don't care, they truly wished to be able to upgrade the servers, but when there are no servers available to be bought in the first place, because the lack of components to build said servers, what do you want SE to do about the congestion ?
You guys acting like they will just go up and leave with all the money as if it was their evil plan from the get go all along... They had no way to foretell that in not even a month they would receive a huge increased in players like almost 1 years+ into covid while the semi conductors where already getting very hard to get before even covid happened, because a certain country were sinking boats of an other certain country for just passing through the waters between them.
Before Asmongold and other streamers start playing FF14 everything was normal. After that faithful day tho, even my random server was getting Qs of 100 right in the middle of a content drought no less.
FF14 makes Square Enix more money over time than any other projects they did, and this is before Endwalker came out.
Here's a suggestion, go find discounted JRPGs on Steam to play for a couple of months until the whole thing blows over, there are several series that are very time consuming to finish.
Is it the store's fault if they put a launch of a game and the entire city rushes to it to buy it, then when they are sold out they start rioting and protesting over a video game?
Yes, the queues piss me off but I know now that if I want to play it's either early morning or late evening. And that's fine.
They already said why, sadly, they can't do much about it for now.
Please don't ever return, thank you very much.
What ignorance.
This is why you're stuck in a min wage job.
At this point the EW launch is free to play, quite generous, for something they have no control over.
Wtf are you talking about rofl? Random numbers? You copium addicts are realy something:D
I only played about ~3 (a "little" less than you call huh?:D) hours since "early" launch, few hours queue and one night of client left working on main menu screen while i was afk. Geez dude, sometimes it's better not to talk you know or you will just show urself clown:D
109 hours is around 2 whole weeks of work if its that hard for you to understand
