Incidentally, could the Seekers Edition have its icon updated for the new Steam interface (the portrait orientated image), and somehow get FFXI proper to run where Steam detects it for use of overlay and gametime tracking, and perhpas start getting Steam Community updates for that game as this one receives?

You can set your own logos and headers if you right click the logo or background on its steam library page but I have some made so it looks decent/official. https://imgur.com/a/ngf4ddg

When I run steam as an administrator the overlay works properly showing that you are playing the game and counting playtime. So try that if you haven't yet

From what I understand, just about everything can be soloed until in final encounters in Rhapsodies of Vana'diel (an epilogue added in 2015), thanks in part to Trusts, NPCs whose likeness can be called into your party. There's a day or two left where the best DPS Trust, Shantotto II, can be had from the Repeat Login Campaign, and one should have enough points to nab her cipher (the item used to gain her Trust) with enough points to get a couple others from that first login.

Really wish they would stop with the crossover/collab stuff. Not saying it's not well done (it's very well done), I just would rather see that effort and time go into Eorzea/Source content instead of other worlds being brought over for cameos.

I would like to see the FFXIII event to come back, I never got to do that one. Everybody else has the Lightning hairstyle... In response to Caz, I don't mind the collab stuff for these brief events, but I don't want the raids to be relying on out-of-universe lore all the time. It's still a bit weird how Ivalice collided into this world. A lot of weird lore changes had to be made. And now I would REALLY like to know how on Earth Nier's universe fits into this... And Omega was all characters from other FFs, and Stormblood had FFX's exact Yojimbo for some dang reason. So yeah, I don't want crossovers to be a crutch or that frequent, because that would ruin the specialness of it and FFXIV has a big enough world to explore as it is, including places not even charted on the map.

@DustyBlue Yojimbo and Ivalice make no more sense than FF13 being a collab. But I agree Neir makes no sense and is really just annoying.

Omega does make sense though, it's a perfect weapon with AI that constantly updates itself with information from the best warriors across universes. Omega also isn't all characters, Omega pits us against simulations of warriors/characters it has already sampled throughout its raids.

Uh. Well, if you got the event items. Good for you. Yet the event has only been recycled 3 times.THREE TIMES! And the items in question are never put on the MogStation. So. For those of us never seen this event the last two times. This is a good time to do it. Even if the event is not hard and very quick to do. The armor set is pretty nice looking for Glam.
