That's pretty stupid, early access to a new expansion? It should launch at the same time for everyone, you should give something else to those who buy the pre-purchase, some in-game items, mounts, whatever, early access to a new expansion, specially FFXIV, it's a P2P game, stupid decision, very stupid.

If i have not game and i will purchase origin game + this pre-purchase, would i have option to play HEAVENSWARD & STORMBLOOD before Shadowbringers appear?

@SunSanich no, you'll need to wait for the Shadowbringers registration code to be redeemable, but anyway you won't be able to acess Heavensward (and Stormblood) before finishing the base game (A Realm Reborn)

Bought FF XIV: ARR on steam a week ago, was waiting for ShB pre-order to play Heavensward and Stormblood right away.. But yeah, they want us to pay twice the price within 5 months :/ Why can't SE just make another option: 50-60 bucks (instead of 40) for those players, who want to have an acess to all previous expansions after the purchase of "pre-order edition' ShB? T_T

Bought this, activated the preorder thing but cant play heavensward and stormblood.
Do I need to wait until shadowbringers launch to play heavensward and stormblood?

For those saying "I bought ShadowBringers and can't play the other expansions, do I have to wait until launch to play them?" Yes. You have to wait, but there is plenty to do in the meantime. You can get other jobs to level 50, you could get your crafters to level 50. Unlock all the dungeons and Extreme content pre 3.0 and work on the asinine grind that is the AF1 Relic weapons. I cant see why they can't go half way and give away Heavensward now as it's old. If you do I'll buy it (off steam)
